Shades of gray.

She makes me happy when skies are gray!

My “letter” came in the mail today–as in my two-foot fuchsia letter “a.” It’s BIG and I love it!

I did some p’shopping, and I’m wondering: what shade of gray would be best?

Light is soft and sweet. Medium is closest to the paint swatch I’ve been admiring. Dark is dramatic, but will it make the room tiny? Then again, all the furniture is crisp white. And the curtains will likely be fuchsia (with ruffles!).

My original Pin-spiration:

But, I’ll zip it now and listen. Please cast your vote: light, medium or dark gray? (Or, something else!)

I’m torn between the medium and the dark hues. Your points are valid. The room will seem smaller with the dark paint, yet the furniture will be striking.
Because of the shrinking of the room, the darkening effect, and the darkness of the chair, I cast my vote for the medium shade.
It doesn’t really matter what color the paint is…the little bundle is what we will be admiring! :)

    1. Totally agree with your points! (Especially the last one!)

  2. I would say the medium shade :) Her room is going to be so cute…..I love it!

    1. Thanks so much, Nicole!

I’m also going medium and agreeing with your mom. I don’t think we’ll be admiring the walls but the little sweetie who’ll be residing there!!

I really like the dark choice, it makes everything pop. With your light colored furniture and bright fabrics it will look awesome!
